Road Tolls for Skiers?

August 6, 2008

Dear Mr. Editor

Re: Should the B.C. Government place tolls on a new Port Mann Bridge?

Commuters travelling to and from work across the Fraser River do not have alternatives. They need to get to work and home again as safely and as quickly as possible.

Skiers and tourists heading for Whistler have alternatives, like going to other ski slopes and resorts or staying at home.

Toll the Sea-to-Sky Highway past Squamish.

Sincerely

Elmer G. Wiens
Vancouver
